We want you to be happy with whatever you get from us. And we stand by everything we sell. We carefully select the products we stock and believe that they are a cut above stuff you can get elsewhere. But we also know that sometimes things don’t work out. So, if you need to return something or you’re looking for a refund then here’s how to do it.
To avoid delays and disappointments, we’d like to suggest that you read through our Returns Policy before making a purchase.

Mistakes, Errors, Damaged Items
We’re human, and we make mistakes. So, if we’ve shipped you the wrong item, get in touch with us, and we’ll make it right.
Similarly, if what we’ve sent you arrives broken, damaged, or in less than perfect condition, then let us know, and we will fix the problem.
But please do so within 48 hours of receipt of the item.
If the item is still available, we will replace it free of charge. However, should the item be out-of-stock, we will refund your money following our standard refund policy.
Please note that after 48 hours, A-1 Vacuum is not responsible for any damages.
How long do you have?
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, then you have up to 14 days to return your purchase to us.
If you want to return your item for cash, you need to get it back to us within 7 days. We will then process a full refund back to your original payment method.
After this initial period, we will still accept returns up to the full 14 days, but we will give you store credit.
We use the original purchase date or delivery date to calculate the returns window. It depends on whether you bought the item in our physical store or online.
What things can’t you return?
Anything that you’ve had for over 14 days.
Any item sold as a final sale.
- All commercial vacuums and commercial floor machines
- All Sales items, including Clearance Sales, Buy One Get One Free offers, Discounted Items
- All Special Orders

Condition of Return
The item you are returning needs to be in an as-new condition with the original packaging.
We typically don’t accept returns that are damaged, altered, or show signs of excessive use.
If your return doesn’t meet our return requirements, we will return it to you, and you will be liable for the return shipping. Therefore, it’s best to contact us upfront if you are uncertain.
We deal with each return on a case-by-case basis.
Re-stocking and other fees
At our discretion, we may charge you a re-stocking fee that will not exceed 50% of the original purchase price.
We decide the fee on a case-by-case basis. Considerations such as whether we can resell the item as an open-box item will influence this decision.
You must also pay for sending the return back to us.
How do you return an item?
- If you purchased the item from our physical store, then bring the item and your receipt back to the store.
- If you purchased the item from us online, start by reading all the return requirements listed on this page. If you have questions, then contact us at email@example.com.
- Then locate your order confirmation email and forward it with a note on the specific items you are returning and the reason for your return to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We will email you back, and then you will send us the return.
How we process returns
If you bring the return back into our physical store, then the return will be processed on the spot.
Returns for online orders are processed quickly. You will have a decision within 2 business days of receipt of the return.
We will refund your money within the same period.
Canceling An Order
Our goal is to ship out all orders in less than 1 business day. If you need to cancel an order, then let us know immediately.
Once the order is shipped, cancellations are not possible.
Cancellations after shipment will be refunded (less any shipping costs) if the package is sent back to us unopened.
